Chasing Shadows of Happiness

In the depths of my soul, a longing resides,

A quest for happiness, where darkness collides.

I yearn to know the key, the elusive art,

To unlock the chambers of my own joyful heart.

The world spins in its splendor, vibrant and vast,

Yet I stand bewildered, uncertain of my path.

I seek the treasures that bring solace and delight,

But the question lingers, what truly ignites my light?

I wander through meadows, beneath the moon's soft glow,

Chasing fleeting pleasures, hoping they'll bestow

The contentment I crave, the serenity I seek,

Yet the answer eludes me, like whispers in the breeze.

Is it the embrace of loved ones, their laughter's gentle sound?

Or the solitude of nature, where peace is often found?

Is it in acts of kindness, a helping hand extended,

Or the pursuit of passions, where dreams are splendid?

I yearn to grasp the essence, the secret of pure bliss,

To unravel the enigma, to feel life's tender kiss.

But amidst the uncertainty, I find solace in the quest,

For it's in the exploration, I uncover what's best.

I'll walk the winding paths, with curiosity as my guide,

Discovering fragments of joy along the way, side by side.

Through moments of wonder, both big and small,

I'll piece together the puzzle, embracing life's call.

For happiness, elusive as it may be,

Resides not in grand gestures, but in moments we see.
