Love Is Bittersweet Art
A testament to the strength in being alive

In the realm of love, I ventured with trust,
Embracing affection, surrendering to the gust.
My heart alit, ablaze with hope's sweet fire,
Unaware of the flames that would devour my desire.
I loved with fervor, a passion untamed,
Believing our love was eternally ordained.
But fate's cruel hand had another decree,
To burn me deeply, to shatter what was me.
Like a moth to the flame, I drew ever near,
Unmindful of the danger, consumed by what I held dear.
Your love, once a haven, now a scorching pyre,
Leaving scars that resonate, a searing pain I acquire.
Promises whispered, like delicate lace,
Now unravel in chaos, leaving no trace.
The warmth turned to ashes, the sweetness to gall,
As love's illusion shattered, leaving me to fall.
In the embers of our love, I find solace and strife,
The remnants of a fire that once illuminated life.
For it's through the burns, the wounds that sear,
That I uncover strength, rising above the fear.
Though scarred and weathered, I emerge from the blaze,
Embracing the lessons learned in love's intricate maze.
For even amidst the ashes, hope still flickers on,
A beacon of resilience, a chance to be reborn.
So I gather the fragments of my broken heart,
Pain and passion entwined, a bittersweet art.
For in the depths of despair, a phoenix shall rise,
Wings of resilience spread, soaring through the skies.
Love's burn may sear, its flames may incite pain,
But I'll rise anew, embracing love's refrain.
For in the realm of the heart, risks must be taken,
Though I've been burned, I'll love again, unshaken.
So let the scars be witness to a love that once thrived,
A testament to the strength in being alive.
For even if I'm burned, love's spirit shall endure,
An eternal flame within, forever pure.
