Well then,
ignore that text
put down the phone
it's not complex
to find your own
to become lost
or
disconnected
you're at a cross-road
redirected
Mentally -
gone on vacation
rejected
society's narration
a body
and soul
deep castration
where
physically
you’d been frustrated
escaping
reality is fine
closing your
eyes
changing your mind
rewrite
the book
shed your
disguise
and find
your
nook
your
secret prize
your
saving grace
just change
your name
the one you donned
to play the game
with those things gone
it's not
the same
YOU'RE
not the same
to anyone else
finally
you get to be
YOURSELF
loud and bold
or
quietly soft
no i's
to dot
no t's
to cross
a bright crisp page
without a mark
no numbing ache
to bear the cross
you win the game
when you get lost
a claim to fame
at any cost

I know I use the word damn a lot, especially as of late... But, damn. There's something about this that reads like... something from a friend. The call out, grabbing our attention. So you can add, 'well then'. It works, this approach was effective. Putting down the phone is a great a first step. Might be the only great step, since we all watch to escape anyway. The real escape is to disconnect. We can vanish that way. '...It's not the same You're not the same' I'm feeling and moving to the rhythm. After 'quietly soft', it really got soft through to the end. Calm. Almost as if I faded away. Way to have me moved with your words, deeply divine Kelli. Congratulations on your Top Story 🤗❤️
