Never again shall you leave; my heart, my soul,
My love, my all, for we are chained as one.
Radiant as moonlight on a blackened knoll,
Yet in the dark, your shadow swallows sun.
You tempt with smiles, yet hide a lethal flame,
Each bell-like laugh coils fire around my mind.
I watch, I burn; my pulse consumed by claim,
Though light and airy seem you, dark I find.
I hold both shadow and the inferno tight,
Desire and rage entwined in writhing dance.
Your brilliance blinds, yet through the endless night
I see the fevered hunger in your glance.
No star shall shine but you; my madness feeds your veins,
In absence, I am void, a soul forever broke.
About the Creator
Donna K
I write where love and darkness intertwine in the quiet spaces where obsession is not a cage but a lantern, where madness is not an ending but a mirror. My work spirals through themes of devotion, identity, and the raw intensity being human
