Again, Carmen San Diego wanted to visit another country and decided to hop a plane over the Atlantic Ocean to the country of Canada.

Canadian, yet English and French

assuming, but

notwithstanding the various

attributes of the citizens and their

dreams that

account for the many similarities and differences of

all her country in many ways, as well as their border country and founders.

This expands our interest in Canada and all it embodies. Great job, Mark.

  • A layered reflection on identity, language, and cultural connection — this piece hints at Canada’s dual heritage and complexity through a poetic acrostic. Clever and contemplative, just like Carmen’s journey.
