Call It Sleepy Lodge (If You Dare)
Maybe think twice before ghost hunting there, Ok?

Call It Sleepy Lodge (If You Dare)
£50 a night. You check in. You change.
They call it Sleepy Lodge—if you dare,
where windows watch and the silence stares.
No one’s lived there in three hundred years,
but the house still breathes,
and it feeds on fear.
The gate swings open with no wind near,
just the scent of dust,
and something unclear.
Old guests knock from inside the walls,
begging the night not to hear their calls.
A child’s laugh floats from second floor,
no child’s been seen since 200 years before.
She paints in red with nothing but air,
and leaves her name on the cold-back stair.
They say the bed sighs when you lie down,
not in welcome, more like a frown.
And if you dream,
don’t open your eyes.
The dream dreams back
and it always lies.
A man once filmed the lodge for fame.
They found the tape.
They won’t say his name.
But at 4:06 on every play,
his voice calls to beg you not to stay.
So book your night.
Hang your cross.
No harm in just one stay…
They call it Sleepy Lodge, if you dare.
And if you don’t return?
will anyone care?
maybe tell a friend your going there.

Whoa… Call It Sleepy Lodge If You Dare gave me chills. The way you blended poetic rhythm with such vivid, unsettling imagery made it feel like I was walking through the lodge myself—each creaky step, every shadowy whisper. There’s a quiet menace lurking beneath your words that stays with you long after the final line. Brilliantly haunting and beautifully written. This one will definitely linger in my mind. Well done! 👏🔥
This gave me absolute chills in the best way!
The house seems interesting, but take a friend you may need help. Good job.
You sure got me I think I will stay at Holiday Inn. Very creative.
Nice Marie
