Walking Through a Rainy Wonderland

Rain bombardments and flooding streets

They say there’s no need for us to meet

But through the dark and dreary night

Are the brightly colored winter lights

Keeping our spirits high like times of old

Through the rain, the dark, and the cold

For nothing will stop our holidays

Or our festive seasonal ways

So bring on the fog and atmospheric river

We may be freezing and we may shiver

We may be wet and we may complain

But we will not let the weather stain

Our attitudes and our cheer

At the most celebrated time of year

So long as we have each other

And we take care of one another

There will be reason to turn on those lights
