By The Way
Where Was I Going With This?

Ideas fly by me
Like margaritas
In the blender
In the race against time
I am the slowest contender
Distractions surround me
I’m pulled in every direction
If life were a buffet
Then my attention’s confection
I trip over a thought
Like a crack in the sidewalk
If it’s free
Then I bought
Buy one get one for me
Everywhere that I look
It seems I’ve been there before
I climbed in the window
To then, walk out the door
If the writings on the wall
Then I can’t find my glasses
Can’t see well at all
Another sheep in the masses
Seems I’ve gotten off track
Lost the gist of this story
I’m the trade of all Jacks
In it just for the glory
So, if you don’t mind
I guess I’ll be on my way
My agenda is blind
And I’ve nothing left to say

Wait up! I'm coming, too! Wow, Kelli, this one is fun.
Haha. That was fun.
It is a thought-out poem describing something.
I don't know where you're going either but I LIKE it!
Well-wrought! Wherever you're going is where you're going. It is what it is. Isn't it? I dunno. "Oh, well, whatever, nevermind"...
