Burn Bright Not Out

Be like the color yellow,

bright and warm,

don’t lose your mellow, even in the eye of the storm

Be kind to strangers,

Say hello,

Be true to yourself and others,

Don’t put on a show

Yellow symbolizes many things,

like spontaneity, happiness, and hope

We assign abundant meanings to abundant colors,

that psychologically make us feel dope

Wear yellow for freedom and concentration,

wear it loud and proud

Find personal power and self-confidence

Stand out from the crowd

There will always be different interpretations to the colors we perceive,

For some are colorblind

But we make our own meanings for the way we look at our surroundings

And while beauty is subjective, it’s never hard to find
