Broken Angel

A poem

By Crystal NealPublished 7 months ago 1 min read

Torched raging smite

Walking through all the lies

Flamed from deep within

Further flared, sparking lively around

What is the choatic stones thrown like glass shards at the feet of the innocent blood?

Fading Light turning inwards

Damned red hot and raw burning of what previously been left of a broken shell of a pure angel

Almost completely destroyed now

Scarred beyond all belief, all that would of known her

Embracing the Darkness that all but swallowed what had been laid to rest

While still beautiful in its own way

That soul eternally damaged

Change more than the Traitor than would like to admit

Fallen fat from fake grace

Never had reaped what they done but what he sowed

Cursed hand sworn to protect instead turned a pure one to ashes

By a wolf dressed in sheep's clothing

Always demanding

Taking his own lust and turned it into pain

Had been his own volition

To do his evil bidding

To do his will

The once angel

Now, a dwindling spark

Unknownst to most

Long since forgotten

Waiting for a moment to be heard
