A heart like mine isn't for the weak to play your sadistic games, you thought you mastered a puppet to display in your parade.
The demons I had to fight through just to break all of these chains, is what built me into the resilient woman you see that I am today.
Tell me how it feels darling to know that I figured out your ploy, to steal the light from my soul and use it like a toy.
Why are you hiding now baby acting suspiciously coy, you're the one who stood man while behind your mask but a boy.
Does it kill your big ego that's filled with selfish pride, to know there was more to me if you cared to look inside.
But that wasn't important to you to seek so you shall find, I was just a clock on the wall to waste some precious time.
Did it fill you with happiness to know you could cause me so much pain, leaving me begging on my knees allowing me to carry all your shame.
As I watched you walking through the sunset while leaving me all the rain, I learned how to survive on my own and that my feelings where more than vain.
So next time you come knocking just know this door is closed, because the truth of who you are God has more than exposed.
Now even when I'm dying it's clear that everyone knows, once you clip off the weak parts you get a budding rose.
