Blood of the Wolf: The Glowing Trail

Prose Fiction Inspired by the Norsing Home Valheim Server

Official Art from Iron Gate Studios

Deep in the dark

where no light dare dwell

a tower stands

nearly crumbled to sand.

A fire bravely burns

bright against the night

to ward off those who would seek

to devour the light.

Seek the glowing trail at peak of night

when the children of the tree

shamble in the shadows,

and the light of the thistle

can be seen as starkly

as the height of day.

This is a continuation of poetry & clues created for a treasure hunting quest series I designed on the Norsing Home Valheim Server ran by EasyBoarder on Youtube & Twitch! It's been so fun to surprise everyone; watching them hunt down these clues & areas of interest live on stream has been an absolute joy. (:

If you want to see the moment when they find these treasure spots, you can check out these two streams ( when Easy talks to "Izzora", that is me! ):

I adore how this is signed storyweaver! I don't have a clue about the server but this is excellently written and the description is very immersive!

I absolutely love how magical and inviting this art is, from iron gate studios. 'Dare dwell' I love how these two words, when placed together. Brings the highs and lows. So the 'dare' is high in tone, then the 'dwell' is falling down. It's so darn satisfying to read it again. The three b's is also lovely. Man! Was this good. I love how you so effortlessly, invoke the same vibe as the art. Through your words. I may not be exaggerating when I say. I prefer your words over the art. Maybe your words made the art better. It's so incredibly cool that you are involved in the design of a treasure hunting quest, series. Well done to you, Amanda. 🤗❤️

To build on what Kenny said, you really should consider taking these poems and compiling them into an epic. I bet you’d be able to make an awesome one!
