God Cannot Lie

By Earl W. PearlPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

I hear when inclining My ear towards you

There’s a cry like a tempest at night

“Forgive me please Abba, this sin that I do

In my weakness I trust You, despite”

Hold fast to Me child, your petition was heard

You’re the reason I offered My Son

As you are the “lamb” that has trusted My word

Claim your victory, it’s already done

Your faith was the compass that pointed the way

And your Bible explained who I am

The “world” is the Wolfpack I’m holding at bay

For the wolves have a craving for lamb

My word is My promise, it’s never untrue

I am faithful tho people will fail

I’ll finish the work that I started in you

So My purpose will always prevail

You’re restless and worried, you anxiously plod

But you’re trusting in Me, as you should

Relax and be still and just know that I’m God

I’m still working things out for your good
