Blade and Burn

Execution of sentence

Razor sharpened steel

comprises every surface

entry and exit point of me

Confounds logic to some

Clueless ones

who felt not final vestiges of my sanctity

succumb to wrath instead

For violations of the divine feminine

For abominations too numerous to name

And since pain and blood became their only understanding

Have fill of it

From one who shall not leave an ounce of flesh

without taste of sword

and sorrows upon sorrows bearing seed

The goddess borrowed lightning

ingested it

and roamed fields and byways without pity

until the brightness blaze stole sight

Made of men high-pitched squeals

‘ere yesterday their hearts waxed hard from cruelty

I feel not but steel hot armaments

discharge and incinerate

envelop and eradicate

in a mass sea of orange crackle-crackle inferno

All blood burnt

All torment avenged

My footsteps safe passage through fire

to ensure

not one deserving wicked soul

found mercy
