I had Orcas in my dreams last night
Deep and soulful creatures
They smiled at me
From the depths of those
Dark, bottomless waters
It drives me to the sea
Some say that to stare deeply,
Faith
Blue is the color of me
It ignites something within
Unquestioning and constant
Maybe blue is not the color of me
But rather something that I need
Like a horse I run uphill
Instinctual
Wild
Like the ants who hurry home
They know rain is coming
They kiss each other lightly
While traveling in opposite directions
Rain is coming
The big blue is uneasy
Turbulent and unruly
Much like the hair that once
Tumbled
.
.
Down from my head.
I will always reflect
On a version of me
Now I am a different color
Mixed beyond recover
This color is better
Stronger
Deeper
Richer
Navy
