    There is no system of beliefs which is exempt from corruption, and no shortage of bad actors who will come in and use even the deepest-held principles or the highest ideals as a cover for wrongdoing. Freethinking, aware individuals who refuse to automate their consciousness with systemic ideologies are and have always been the only real guard against this. Well-wrought!
