Avatar: The Way of Water
A Bad Review of a Bad Movie for the Bad Movie Review Challenge.

C.G.I Bukake
A water-logged Ferngulley
Whale Juice, Seriously...?

The above Haiku is written for Matthew Fromm's Bad Movie Review Challenge. It seems like good fun and I suggest you check it out.

Authors Note: As should be pretty evident I was less than a fan of this movie. Probably not a popular-opinion given its commercial success, but it needs to be said. This was just the next episode in the exercise in visual masturbation that is the Avatar series. This time the theme was moisture. The Avatar series is like Fast and the Furious. Turn off your brain and enjoy it for the spectacle. There's nothing else there.
I understand James Cameron is a known thalassophile but for those of us who aren't, I don't think this measures up to anything worthwhile. I don't mean that as a dig against James Cameron. I actually enjoy many of his other creations and think he's a fine director. This movie is more or less the exception.
If you want an entertaining visually appealing story revolving around water and the ocean with characters that you might actually enjoy watch Moana instead. It's leagues ahead of this washed-up mess.
For those of you who haven't seen Avatar: The Way of Water, the line about whale juice is only partially a joke. If you ever make the poor life decision to spend a couple hours of existence on this movie it will make more sense, so I won't spoil it for you.
Anyway, I think this movie is flotsam, carried upon a sea of CGI effects but to each their own.

Congrats on placing, Addison! I haven't watched this one, and probably won't. The original was innovative and I enjoyed the story, but not enough to warrant watching a sequel. Well done!
Congrats on placing in this challenge and yes, this was funny.
Congratulations . Too funny, and sadly too true
So I really dislike most CGI, but I’ve watched this three times and liked it more with each viewing. I’m not sure what that says about me! Ha! 😅😆
OMG...Addison. This is perhaps my favourite I've read, or at least one of my favourite's for Matt's challenge. It was the Bukake line that sealed it for me. Thanks for the face creases lol! I've still not seen the second one, tbh.
I've never even watched the first Avatar lol. But I didn't expect this one to be so bad 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
