"Aoibheall" by Justine G. Cappelli

Introduction

This is my third piece inspired by Justine G. Cappelli's gorgeous artwork.

Some of Justine's words on Aoibheall, there are a lot more on the Facebook link:

Aoibheall is a fairy woman of Munster, closely linked to County Clare, and especially to Craig Liath, often associated with Craglea, near Killaloe. Like many beings of the Aos Sรญ, she is rooted in place.

Over The Flowers Her Music Does Float

By Her Side, Comfortably Sits Her Cat

Her Music Is Heard, She Cannot Be Seen

This Eirann Land Is Always In Her Thoughts

    Well done.

  • Turn the ruby into slippers, put them on, close your eyes, click your heals together & say, "There's no place like home," over & over again. Well done, Mike.
