Another National Golf Lovers Day Limerick

Golf is not easy

Golf is a very hard game. It is played on an incredibly beautiful playing fields in some breathtaking locations here in the United States and around the world which makes it a great for travel. And playing golf is a wonderful social experience spending four hours plus with your golf buddies that you share a special bond with. And there's competition. You play against your buddies, and you play against the golf course. Therein lies the rub. It's as much a mental game as it is an extremely difficult physical game played with some weird instruments of destruction and those two things can make you mentally ill.

Using a stick to hit something so small,

It’s no wonder that I’m no good at all.

The issue I’d like to skirt

Is my digging up dirt…

My divots fly further than the ball!
