Memories swarm like irritated wasps,
Papery winged cacophonies,
Opening torturous wounds,
But they die with each sting,
The pain fades away,
Like a nightmare,
Washed away,
Just like,
You.

Very creative! Loved this!
The metaphors you have used in this poem are excellent. Sometimes, describing pain through imagery words can be a helpful way to deal with it. You have written this beautifully.
A nonet with a sting! Brilliantly written as always - I like the sense of peace at the end
This is great. Except isn't it bees that die? Wasps live to sting again don't they?
Ooooh, I love this, Kenny! The imagery is so creative!!
