Are my colors everything you thought they would be?
They say an eye for an eye, Yet I don’t feel like You can reach me.
Physically I’m here, adding frame to your vision.
Trying to entice you to make all the right decisions.
You’ve painted red.
A symbolism to the void you retreat to.
And just when you believe you’ve sunken way beneath blue, I will see you...
Tucked and crumbled away
Holding back your colors.
The frame that I once fit, Now disordered and mashed up
From you I pluck,
The most promising, nurturing,
Forgiving colors.
As I blend them together
You hold my gaze in awe of a diamond mind.
Now that I’ve seen the colors in you
And have painted this picture.
...Are my colors everything you thought they would be?
