An ode to injustice.
All lives DONT matter. Stop telling these lies to your peers.
You only speak them when you’re sick and tired of Black tears.
Saying all my people do is complain when we express pain.
Yet you do worse when one of your own dies in vain.
All lives DONT matter. We know Black on Black exploitation does worse too.
We know because we learned self exploitation from you.
Who is “you?” The system. The people in power.
They hide like cowards after making everybody slaves to power.
All lives DONT matter. Yes, my people work hard.
We built empires that you reduced to bone yards.
All lives DONT matter. Don’t ever say that we’re equal.
If we were injustice wouldn’t be an epidemic to my people.
The meekest Black flesh is deemed a natural risk.
While those with lighter flesh get off with a slap on the risk.
All lives DONT matter. Why am I having a fit?
Since I was born I paid for crimes I didn’t even commit.
You say “everybody struggles” and yeah you wanna believe that.
Bet you won’t trade places. You wouldn’t dare wanna be Black.
All lives DONT matter. Stop with the hypocrisy.
The only person trapped in the injustice box is me.
All lives DONT matter. Only YALL LIVES MATTER!!!
And as long as y’all’s lives matter, then ALL LIES MATTER!!!

Painfully true!
This piece is raw and powerful, cutting straight to the heart of the matter. The repetition of "All lives don't matter" really drives home the message, calling out the disconnect between what’s claimed and what’s lived.
