This is a poem on how great friendships can grow and get stronger, and what those friendships can do to make our lives better. The form I have chosen is sonnet.
I used the song "Silver Threads and Golden Needles" for the title not the content, but it is an excellent song.

And We Add More To Our Thread Every Day
We Make It Stronger As We Forge Ahead
We Build It Up With The Words That We Say

Yes Our Gold And Silver Thread Is So Strong
It Will Keep Us Close, Bring Us Together
It Will Never Break, Here We Do Belong
This Perfect Thread It Will Be Forever

It Gives Us Happiness, This Connection
