A Sudden Goodbye

Things change, so do people.

I.

Sitting on a table beside my window.

Feeling the cold wind, and my sorrow.

Seeing the words I wrote.

Even if it's the dark I only saw.

II.

A sudden goodbye six months ago.

Looking at my plants, thinking when can I let go?

When yesterday was the date I met you.

And a friendship between us grow.

III.

The friendship that turns into love.

Yet everything changed in just a glance.

This night I wanted to call you,

Then change my mind, not to bother you.

IV.

In this cold breeze at night.

Seeing only the street lights.

Asking the plants in front of me...

How can you let go of me easily?
