A Promise
As true as a lie to a child will hurt, will a broken promise break

As true as a lie to a child will hurt, will a broken promise break you.
As false as a man whose step strays from his word, wouldn't he fail to build you?
Entrance into trust has a gate upon which your unchaining, is the sight of the rainbow.
Will you run, will you speak, will you go now, envoy. I am assured that your embassy is without a look back.
Ferry me with you on the river to the end of the rainbow, for the road there has misery and toil.
Thence I journey no longer, for providence is my home, and trust in its true colors is where I rest.
