We all knew a great man who called himself Jay Love
And now he's soaring with his heavenly father above
Would do anything for anyone without hesitation
Hey brotha you have reached your final destination
He had the biggest heart a person could hold
sometimes I thought his heart was of pure gold
He made so many friends and memories in this life
The best memory of all after loving my sister for 17 years he made her his wife
Now you're flying high like the stars and the moon
We're all heartbroken and wondering why so soon
That boy Jay Love was a character at his best
Our God said the fight has been won my son so now you can finally rest!
Until we meet again "brotha" Love your lil sis Janet
