This is Vocal-related about the moment when someone gave me the belief that my writing had value to others. It was not my first Top Story, it was something else that has stayed with me since that moment and will stay with me forever.

Great-Grandfather Eldridgeβs Poetry
Recently, I learned that my great-grandfather, on my fathers side of the family, wrote quite a bit of poetry. A family member put together a book of his poetry. I had no idea until recently. It was such a wonderful pleasure connecting to his words, written so long ago! I had never met him because he died long before I was born. From what Iβve been told, his wife died during childbirth. It makes me wonder how similar I may be to some of my ancestors, in the fashion in which I reflect and write.
