A Friend You Can Trust
Treat them like they are gold dust

A Friend You Can Trust
A friend will not talk behind your back,
When they know you’re down or tired,
they give you some slack.
Always ready to show they care,
At night they mention you in their prayer.
They always go that extra mile
And will stop at nothing to make you smile.
They’ll tell the truth when no one dares,
Stand by you when no one cares.
They won’t compete, they won’t compare.
Just show up real, and stay right there.
They keep your name out of cheap debates,
Hold your story without twisting the weight.
And even if they’re far from near,
They’re still the voice you need to hear.
So if you have a friend you trust,
Treat them right—just like gold dust.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

How true and finding a true friend is hard, but one always has a Friend in Jesus that will last for eternity.
Good friends are hard to find. It has taken me 40 years to find someone I consider a good friend. Great summary of what a good friend should be.
Yes
Absolutely correct, without money, without time, without hate, good friends care for each other, that's why we are here to appreciate, even by likes, and comments, we never have met each other but we can understand by words,is it ????
