Gratitude Check In

My eyes opened this morning as I was mindlessly breathing

My heart is steadily beating

My stomach only aches cause I should be eating

My darkness - it’s much more fleeting

Trees

Wind

Daylight

Rain

If I don’t remind myself;

Who will?
