Gratitude Check In
My eyes opened this morning as I was mindlessly breathing
My heart is steadily beating
My stomach only aches cause I should be eating
My darkness - it’s much more fleeting
Trees
Wind
Daylight
Rain
If I don’t remind myself;
Who will?

Very heartfelt. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful, also a little sad, but mostly achingly beautiful
I loved your poem so much, especially the last 2 lines!
The darkness is more fleeting - great! ❣️
