5 Ways Disposable Cameras Are Still Used Today
Remember the venerable old disposable camera? If you grew up in the 1990s, you definitely do. These cheap little plastic-based, paper-covered cameras were ubiquitous throughout the 1980s and 1990s — although they were actually originally conceived in 1880, almost 150 years ago.

Learning My Camera
My Camera Yesterday was a warm and beautiful November day. I took the littles, (the term I use for my four-year-old son and his cousin who is the same age), for a walk. We went for a walk and took some winter pictures of the mountains at the same time. The mountains are pretty when the sun shines on them with snow. In an earlier post that I made I talked about my camera. It's not a very new camera I bought it when my daughter was almost 2. It’s the Canon EOS Rebel T3.

Adventures with my camera Part 1
I really enjoy photography, and, while I'm not that good at it, I still enjoy photographing the beauty of nature. The greatest enjoyment I get, is photographing our property. Because we live out in the rural sticks, I'm always finding interesting photo opportunities. For example the photos down in our canyon are really breathtaking.

My Camera
My Camera Back when I started to investigate doing copywriting and blogging as a career, I didn’t think that I would be using my camera. I wrote an article about tomatoes and posted it on Vocal. I could not submit my article with out a picture so that is when the light bulb in my head turned on and I thought I can use my camera and take the picture myself. I can turn my hobby into something to help support my writing career. Instagram, Facebook, and Tumbler I can do all my own pictures and story idea. I am not sure how well t will go.

The How-To's of Capturing the Best Photos With Your Phone
If there is one thing I’ve learned throughout my years of photography: it is that you don’t need a fancy, expensive camera to get amazing pictures. Having studied photography and videography in college, I love having a camera and being able to take beautiful photos. However, there are a lot of times that I don’t want to carry around my camera because it’s heavy, expensive, and I can still get some beautiful pictures without it.

Behind Abandoned Iowa
Invariably as time marches on we as humans will leave many things in our wake, both tangible and intangible. As civilization pulls back from the rural areas of the American Midwest more and more structures are abandoned and left to the slow decay of time. Mitch Nicholson, the published author behind “Abandoned Iowa: Vacant Heartland”, has developed a passion and art in the documentation of these remnants of human life. Armed with a camera and a desire to share what he finds, Mitch has garnered a following when it comes to photos of the abandoned places around the heartland. On the 9th of November I accompanied Mitch out into the field to see just what his work entails and to ask him how this passion came about.
