cat
It's been said that people that hate cats will come back as mice in their next life.
Elderly Cat Constipation
Whereas it used to be that a cat's whole 9 lives got used up in not much longer than a decade, if that, the advances in Veterinary care, combined with owners protecting their cats more from traffic and accidents, means that cats now often live longer than two decades.

Boomer
One day I was at my grandmas house, missing my cat, Bobbie. I wanted to go back home so I could see her, but there was much more cats at my grandmas house. So, I walked around the back porch where the cats were. I walked over to my other cat, Luna Kitty. Luna Kitty was pregnant at the time, so I didn't want to pick her up because I might hurt the kittens. I went to see Luna Kitty's foster mother, Mommy Kitty, or Sara. Sara was also Bobbie's mother, so Luna Kitty is Bobbie's foster sister. I wanted to go inside, because it was hot out. I walked inside of my grandmas house, and cool air rushed into my hair. I walked over to the couch to sit down near my grandmas dog, Ruby. I got up after a few minutes to grab something to eat. I found nothing I liked, so I went to my cousins house to play games on my phone. I rode my bike down to her house, which was not far away. I set my bike down and ran inside the house. I spent a couple nights there, with my cousin Adalynn. My mom came and picked me up to go home. I ran inside of the house, happy to be home again with my cat. I ran into my moms bedroom to find my cat, because she liked staying in there. When I checked, I saw a black and white cat. I jumped back in surprise. I never seen a cat like him. I wondered if he was a street cat that had sneaked into our house. I went to tell my mom that, but when I told her, she said that he was our cat now. I was surprised because she said that I would not get another pet. I walked back into the bedroom, only to find Bobbie sleeping on the bed. I went and checked under the bed to see if the cat was still there. Before I could check, my little brother walked in with the cat in his arms. "This is Boomer!" He happily said. I walked over to Boomer and picked him up to pet him. He was very soft. I went over and sat on my moms bed. I wanted to see how sharp his claws were, so I picked his paw up and tried to find his claws. For some reason, I couldn't find them. I guessed that he was declawed. I went over to my mom and asked her why did she get him. She told me that she got him because he was declawed and fixed. A few months later, Bobbie started to pee on stuff so we had to kick her out. I was sad, so everyday I would walk outside to see her. A week after we kicked her out, my other cousin came and we brought her back inside. Boomer was not happy at all. The whole night we called him a angry ball of fur. Eventually we fell asleep and in the morning I begged my mom to bring Bobbie to my grandmas house. She eventually said yes. That day we brought Bobbie back to where she was born, by the way my grandmas house. The present day, Bobbie, Boomer, Luna Kitty and Sara are all doing well. Luna Kitty has 3 healthy kittens, one from a different litter. Sara has 1 surviving kitten and before she had her kittens, she moved to Adalynn's house. Her kittens name is Ollie. Boomer is happy in his home and Bobbie is too. That's the end of this story! Stay happy and healthy! Bye!

Cat Whisker Facts
Have you ever looked at your cat’s cute face and wondered if those whiskers served a purpose, and what that might be? Of course you haven’t, you most likely have one of those really aloof cats that you never see unless it’s trying to claw your eyes out while you are sleeping. Lucky for all of us though, I have a friendly cat and I started to think about this, so I decided to find out more about whiskers and share it with all of you. Perhaps “fascinating” is a bit of a stretch, but it turns out that cat whiskers are pretty remarkable things.

Amon, the Hidden One
I never thought I would get a cat. The scratching, biting...overall, just being highly picky about what they want just deterred me away for a while. My roommates had a friend who took in a stray cat, who had kittens about a week later of being in the house (surprise!). She messaged my roommates about taking a kitten. In turn, they asked if I wanted one.

Lily Mae
Meet Lily Mae, the family cat. She likes to be petted and feed and loved on too. She really doesn’t like dogs that much because she attacked the dog outside one time. We tried to warn the dog but she had her mind set on smacking him with her sharp claws. Cats are adorable and awesome! I grew up with nothing but cats so yeah you know. Lily is usually a good girl. Expecting for her food bowl and water bowl to be filled up, or else she will whine meow about it. Other than that she is a blessing to be around.

A Not So Sociable Cat
The four kittens made their appearance in the fall of 2012, having spent their first weeks of life in the barn. One was a gray striped, two were black and white and one was black with a little patch of white on her neck. It seems when there are cats in the barn and underneath the house more cats appear. In the spring there were at least ten cats on the property!

My Little Melon
This is my Melon (yea I know weird name. My daughter started calling her that when she was a kitten and it stuck). Little background story about Melon and how she found us. My daughter and I were at a house (that I was working at for a house auction). After the auction was over we went in the backyard and she heard a kitten crying. Well all of a sudden this tiny little black kitten came running out from underneath a shed in the backyard. She was so small she could fit in the palm of my hand. Her eyes had just opened. There were no other cats around. She had been abandoned by her cat momma. There was no way I was going to leave her there. So my daughter and I headed to Walmart to get her some kitten milk and a kitten baby bottle. She was so hungry she drank a whole bottle when we got home. She had to sleep in a cloths basket and that was huge for her. A wash cloth was a blanket. Since I worked at home I was able to care for her like she was my own baby. And just like human babies kittens have to eat every 2 to 3 hours also until they are ready to be whined. I whined her around 6 weeks old. And since female cats have to teach their kittens everything I had to teach my Melon too. I had to teach her to go poop (they don't automatically know how to do that. I taught her how to eat kitten food. To her I am her momma. She used to lay on my chest and suck on my shirt like she was nursing. It was so sweet. Fast forward to today and she is now 12 years old. Just recently (last week) I noticed she was bleeding so I looked her over and found some sort of growth on her tummy. Looks to be some sort of cyst or tumor. She needs to go to the vet but just like her fur-brother Waldo I can't afford her surgery and I know she will have to have a biopsy and surgery most likely. I am keeping the area clean but I know I have to get her to a vet as soon as possible. I am just completely heartbroken. I am scared to death it is cancer. Two of my babies sick at the same time. When it rains it pours. This has been the worst year ever. I need a miracle or to win the lottery. My odds of a miracle are better than winning the lottery. Whoever reads my stories please pray for my babies to get some help. They desperately need it.

My Fur-baby Waldo
This is my Waldo. My sweet Maine Coon Cat. I have had Waldo and his brother George since they were kittens. The were adopted by my son & daughter in law from a shelter but they could not care for them because they were in the military. And ultimately they came to live with me when they were less than a year old. They are now 9 years old. I love them as much as my own children. They have other fur-sisters and brothers. 4 other cat siblings and 1 dog sibling. All indoor. All my pets are pampered especially Waldo & George and my Melon (there will be a story about her also). They are maine coons and are the sweetest boys. They love to cuddle and loves everyone they meet. They get along with all the other animals including the dog. They are the best cats I have ever had. My heart is broken because my Waldo is in pain. He had some bad teeth. :*( And his mommy can't afford his dental procedures. All my animals are special but Waldo is very special to me. He has always been drawn to me more than anyone. And me to him. He sleeps with me. Lays with me while I work (I work at home). He is just my baby. And I can't bare to him hurting. This is killing me and I just need help. I don't want him to be in pain. Now he doesn't want to eat and it is breaking my heart. Waldo has been pretty healthy except for about 6 years ago he had bladder stones which were dissolvable by science diet. That was scary because we weren't sure if the special food would work but it did. And all was fine until recently when I noticed he would cry out when he ate dry food. I took him to his vet and she examined him and said his gums were inflamed & said he needed extractions. This is very unexpected & I just don't have the money. It is very costly to get his teeth taken out. I have had a bad year due to covid 19. I am very worried about my Waldo. He just has not been his mischievous playful self since his teeth started hurting him. It would be the world to me to get him the care he desperately needs. I have tried crowdfunding for pets. No luck. No one donated. My daughter set up a facebook fundraiser and only 2 people donated. I appreciate those people who donated but it was not enough. Right now I need a miracle.

This year I'm celebrate Halloween at home with my cat
This year on Saturday, October 31st people are celebrating Halloween. Most common celebration ceremony is called Trick-or-treating where one goes around houses for treats or treating. As 2020 becomes a year of social distancing, Halloween would be unlike the norms of what we know. People would be careful of human interactions and receiving treats in both could spread the virus. As a result, I would be celebrating at my home with close ones in my house. In this case it would be my cat, Coco Pang Pang.
