5 Simple Ways to Get Your Dog to Pay Attention
Do you find yourself trying hopelessly to get your dog’s attention? Does “in one ear and out the other” sound familiar? Or does your dog find it easy to listen to you until he sees the dreaded mail carrier? Whatever the case, it’s important that us owners are able to capture and hold our dog’s attention. Just imagine the consequences if our dog ran onto a busy road and was not able to listen to us calling him back!

My White Spirit Dog
Thirty Years Ago: My mother had passed away two weeks earlier, and I slept on the couch most of the time, day and night. One morning, I was napping on the sofa and woke up, but I could not move or talk. I could only observe and watch my grandmother, mother, sister, and myself doing laundry in the kitchen sink. In my vision, it was a beautiful spring day. I could see outside and noticed a small black dog looking up at the three people she was with and then back over at me. It was cold and icy outside, but she appeared to glow with a beautiful white light surrounding and filling her.

A dog almost named Cookie
My family is one of thousands that rescues stray animals. There was never a time we didn't have at least one former-stray companion living with us. Right now, we have two cats: one named Mimzy and the other Minnie, and two dogs, a German Shepherd named Remo and a mix named Heidi.

The Gypsy Horse
Fair warning: Bella was not mine in truth. She was ‘mine’ in the sense that every volunteer at the Riding for the Disabled Association stables I went to had a horse that they worked with. But I loved her. She was a red bay gypsy cob and was sold to the stable when she was pregnant.

Dog
A good dog food for your dog meets with a specific, high quality ingredient base that provides a high level of optimum nutrition for your pet. Dog food ingredients are selected based on their quality, and are human grade, meaning that they are also used for human consumption. Usually a greater price tag goes along with the purchase of premium dog food as the cost to find, evaluate and test a high quality ingredient can be more expensive, and because of this, some dog food manufacturers substitute quality for quantity and opt for the cheap alternative.
