Groodle - The Finest Doodle Ever
Groodle aka Goldendoodle in many parts of the world is a cross between the Golden Retriever and Poodle. As it is the product of two of the most intelligent and loving breeds, the end result is even cuter and smarter than the parents.

The REF
Promptly and without exception every night at eight, I'll hear the whimper and cries of a 110 pound baby while he looks at me with begging eyes and wagging tail, signaling to me that it's time for the nightly stroll. Chance my rescued Lab-mix dog, will without fail, expect a nightly walk to which his pint-sized Pekingese companion, Gizmo, will be right behind him; being awakened by Chances nightly walk-dance ritual. Gizmo knows as well does Chance that this behavior gets me up, putting my shoes on, and taking them out the door. Little do they know that I have this walk planned as their daily exercise and love doing it at night as it seems to be the best time to clear my mind while my dogs get a little exercise and the chance to take in the neighborhood scents and leave some of their own.

October328i
OCTOBER328i The Moss Point Tiger…A.K.A…Mittens the run away kitten. Have you ever just wanted to take a chance and run away in search of a better life….just do it. One hot fall day down in the country in a small town called Moss Point, Ms I made my dead get away… Its hot in the day, cold in the night, its so many of us running around I know this isn’t the life for me. Hungry, tired, thirsty, and flea bitten I knew I had to leave by any means necessary. One day I saw a BMW 328i pull up and I knew it was my time. Sometimes you only get one opportunity to make a change your life and when that time comes you take it. That car looked like it came from a good home where they can afford to take care of me. I’m not sure if they will want me but I'm so adorable how can they refuse me. Grey all over like a cotton ball with hints of black and my tail had black rings going up an down.

The Heart of an Old Dog
She was so tiny in her shelter photo, huddled up on a blanket. A perfect white ball of senior toy poodle, abandoned after her owner had died and the children didn’t want to take her on. They had brought her to the shelter to have her euthanized, but the shelter vet determined that she still had life in her, and so the adoption coordinator talked them into signing her over for the “fospice” program.

Tommy and Cappie: A Tail of Two Kitties
Decades ago, my late wife and I went to an animal shelter to adopt a kitten and we found one very young orange tabby named Tommy. We were in the process of adopting him and had already paid our fee and they were double checking his health when they began to be concerned about him. Finally they determined that he had feline leukemia and that he was not going to live very long. We were given the option of picking out another cat to adopt or get a refund of our adoption fee. We couldn’t bring ourselves to choose another cat because we were shocked and heartbroken and hurt to lose Tommy so quickly. But we also decided that we were not going to get our adoption fee refunded and furthermore that we would formally adopt Tommy. So we filled out the paperwork and we adopted him even though we knew we couldn’t take him home with us. What we chose to do was add our last name onto his and buy a few toys that he could have with him for as long as he was going to live. We didn’t want him to die as a cat without a family. Even if he’d never know it or ever come home with us, we wanted him to be loved and to be part of a family. Little Tommy was our cat for a matter of weeks. We only got to meet him very briefly and we weren’t allowed to handle him, but for all the problems he had in his short life, he seemed like a happy little boy and we were overjoyed to watch him play with the toy that we bought him. And he played with joy and strength of spirit and you wouldn’t know that he was sick- that instead of years ahead of him, he actually only had days. Tommy lived a lot in the short time he was here, and we loved him as a part of our family. And then we said goodbye to Tommy, but we were forever changed.

Finding "The One"
Growing up, I was fortunate to have a dad who loved animals. We had dogs, hedgehogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, deer, horses, goats, exotic birds, and the list goes on from there. It's funny how I had a lot more freedom than other kids when it came being able to have seemingly whatever pet I wanted, yet I was fixated on the one animal my dad never let me keep - a cat.

The tale of the Talei rescue
In the heart of a small retirement village, cats stalked the area. The council had deemed them as pests and a notice was released stating that the cats were going to be ‘removed’. My Grandaunt, a resident of the village called me in a panic. She knew of my love for animals and my experience in the animal training industry. She was terrified that all these animals would be killed. My work colleague Zoe and I devised a plan and we went to the village. On our way, we bought cat food and a cat trap. We created the trap and sat in wait for cats. We had to rescue as many as we could in the hope we could rehabilitate them and find them homes.

Sharing Life with Polydactyls
The time was right to take a leap of faith into pet parenting. Should I choose a dog or cat? Would I adopt? Am I responsible enough to be a great parent? I did not take the decision lightly. Once I settled my concerns, I took the plunge and went looking for a soulmate--the furry kind. A cat would soon occupy my residency.

Should I continue taking my pet to routine appointments
How do know if our dog has coronavirus compared to another disease? Ans. Canine Coronavirus symptoms can be very similar to other diseases to include parvovirus for puppies. If your dog diarrhea has not resolved in 24 hours, you should see your veterinarian. If your dog’s diarrhea is combined with a loss of appetite and lethargic behavior, you may want to see your veterinarian as soon as possible. Keep in mind, there is currently no cure for coronavirus although antibiotics could help with some secondary bacterial infections.

Sweet Mia... Best Dog Ever
I bought my first house when I was 42 years old. I had moved for a job from Ohio to Georgia. I started in an apartment and decided it was time to invest in my own property. As soon as I found a house I thought I could call a home, I made an offer and signed a mortgage contract. I had a big yard behind the house. The next logical step, in my mind, was to get a dog.

The Great Escape
12:00 PM: I am feeling grumpy. My companion is relentless, always making some kind of raucous. It is hot. The blazing sun has dried all the surrounding dirt to dust. It is, quite literally, the dog days of summer. It is August of 2010, and in southeast Georgia the summertime heat is suffocating, for it is not just hot, but humid, too.

The right thing to do?
The rescue of zuess I am not sure what the time is but it feels late at night, i am tucked in my queen sized bed eating olives out of the jar and listening to Taylor swifts album on my cd player if I remember correctly its the year 2017. I am sixteen years old living in my mothers house, every little noise made in this house scared me, the wind howling and the floors creaking always makes me jump.
