Most of us don't get to explore the vast deserts and tundras of the world. We don't get to dive into the deep ocean or climb the highest peaks. The dense forests and jungles remain out of our reach. Best Self Cleaning Litter Boxes for the Cat Lover
You can take a dog on a walk and keep their waste far away from your home, but the same is not true for cats. If you have a cat or multiple cats, their leavings will occupy a corner of your house. Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Pristine snow encapsulates the driveway and the surrounding yards, while more snowflakes descend with brilliant tranquility. My dog Milly immediately adds some yellow hues to this picturesque scene, highlighting the flower bed beside our front door. After relieving herself, she enthusiastically tugs me back inside the warm house. Milly is not what you would call a "snow dog."

The Wolf Conservation Center Cries out for Understanding and the Wolf's Importance to the Environment
The Grey with Liam Neeson is a very entertaining film in which a group of plane crash survivors find themselves stranded in the territorial hunting grounds of a large, ferocious wolf pack. Ruthlessly and mindfully stalked, only Liam Neeson remains as the human alpha to face a canine counterpart that puts species supremacy above its own survival. Leaving the viewer looking into the determined eyes of the two combatants, the lack of an onscreen outcome still amounts to pure movie magic. But the reality of the entire scenario is as likely as a great white shark jumping on a boat to eat its aggressors. More troubling, this type of broad misconception leaves Maggie Howell of the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem with her work cut out with her.

The Fun Part of Finding a Forever Pet
Let me start by saying that adopting from your local shelter is awesome! So many places don't offer no-kill shelters, so if those pets don't get adopted by a loving family, they are killed and then they don't get the life they deserve. It's a harsh reality of what happens when people choose to buy a dog or cat or whatever from someone selling it on Facebook Marketplace or in one of the many group chats. Yes, all animals deserve a good home and a loving family to have in their lives; however, people go and spend $500 or more on a dog that was a creation from someone getting dogs to breed and sell. Only for that purpose. But why keep putting money into the pockets of others when you can go down to your local shelter and adopt a pet instead?

The Irony of Conservation
Long before an American dentist shot the village icon, Cecil the Lion, the debate on African conservation has raged. The “war,” it seems, was only fiercened by the events that followed the fatal shot by Walter Palmer. Conservationists have been debating for many years now on whether or not hunting played a part in conservation. However, in recent years, studies and research has begun to show that hunting is part of conservation. Despite the recent evidence, most of the general population believe that banning trophy hunting altogether will solve the wildlife problem. While this solution may seem to be the best option, once one looks at the whole picture, it becomes evident that hunting plays an essential role in conservation. Banning hunting will not help the conservation effort due to the fact that, without hunting, there is no incentive for the African population to protect wildlife, and eco-tourism as an alternative to hunting will not be effective in remote or unstable areas.
