❤️The Life Changing Accident: Paralysis❤️

A few years ago I had to quit teaching at a university because I was diagnosed with stage four cancer.

Therefore, after quitting, I got a job as a yoga coach and gymnastics coach at one gym, but the pay was very low.

I have practiced yoga since I was a kid and it helped make me a great gymnastics coach too.

I so loved teaching kids gymnastics, for I have a lot of enthusiasm and was a gymnast myself when I was a kid.

Finally, I quit there too because I was driving daily some 3 hours a day to and from the gym in another town.

Personal Trainer : The Best Job Ever

Loving to teach, I applied for another job as a personal trainer at an exercise gym.

Again the pay was low, but they promised me a raise if I could pass a national test that was a lot about anatomy.

I was allowed to take the test as many times as I could, no charge, so I did.

However, my chemo mind from too much cancer treatments, made the test a mission impossible to pass.

No matter how often I did the test, I could not pass it.

Loving it, I worked about 5 days a week, one on one with individuals.

Each person had a weakness, and I became popular, for I really loved my job to seem people push themselves more.

Encouraging them, smiling at them, listening at them to become better, better, and even better, slowly.

Many told me their life stories as I loved to interact with people.

Each session was only 25 minutes. . .

However, I got frustrated at the low pay again, and my inability to pass the test.

Therefore, one day I quit. . . to this day, I regret quitting that job.

It starts with love.. .

As a Kid: Training as a Gymnast

I trained about 8 to 12 hours a day when I was a gymnast, for I was good on every apparatus or event. However, one day, I was trying to learn a double back off the rings.

I had about 5 crash pads, so I could prepare; I would miss my feet and land on my back. I felt I could make it, so I went for it. Then I blacked out.

When I woke up, I managed to walk away, but they were shocked and asked if I wanted to call an ambulance.

Macho like, I said no. My knees crushed into my head, for that alone was so very painful.

I walked away in so much pain, so I should not have walked and they should have called an ambulance. Sadly, I should have waited.

The next day after I was out of school, all of the sudden, I dropped to the ground; I felt no sensation in my legs. Nothing. I panicked and crawled on the floor with my arms pulling me.

Because I was extremely strong, I was able to make it across the room to the phone. We didn't have iPhones then.

"Mom. Come home. Something is wrong. I can't walk."

My mother listened and got permission to help me, for she drove home quickly.

She immediately called a Buddhist temple where they did acupuncture.

By the time, we got there, I was better, but I felt these electric shocks shoot through my body. I was unable to attend school for a couple of days.

Each day I improved with the acupuncture, but to this day when my back goes out, I return to hell.

I am working on yoga certifications, because stretching helps a lot. Even then, I did yoga stretches. I lost my scholarship and had to give up gymnastics.

When I watched the handsome and talented Mitch Gaylord, a UCLA gymnast, win a gold metal at the Olympics, I think. That could have been me, he went on to make movies.

Being the same age, we competed against each other in high school.

My Fairfax gymnastics team beat his school, Grant High. We were the champions.

Gymnasts from my school were given scholarships to UCLA.

Well, dreams die, but the heart beats on as we walk along a new path.

❤️Master the Art of Relaxation!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Share with me what you do to relax or heal. A Florida filmmaker has been contacting me for years. She wants to do a film with me. This time, I think I will train smart. We are developing a script. She has access to the best cameras, a stunt crew, and amazing actors.

Perhaps dreams do come true!
