Florence had always been passionate about football. As a child, she played the sport with her siblings and friends, and it soon became a part of her identity. Throughout her teenage years, Florence trained with local clubs and made it onto the school team. She dreamed of one day playing professionally, but as she got older, she realized the road to success was not an easy one.

After finishing high school, Florence pursued a degree in Journalism, but she continued to play football in her free time, and things were looking up. However, as she neared graduation, Florence started to feel the weight of societal pressure to prioritize a career over her passion for football.

So, after finishing her degree, Florence decided to put her football career on hold and focus on building a career in business. She took on a series of jobs over the years, but none of them brought her the fulfillment she had hoped for. Despite her best efforts, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing.

Six years after putting her football dreams on hold, Florence decided it was time to return to the sport she loved. She started training again, joining a local team and committing herself fully to the game. But to her surprise, she found that the joy she had once felt for the sport was no longer there.

Florence was at a loss. She had always thought that her love for football was unwavering, but now she wasn't so sure. Has her break from the game been too long? Has her passion truly faded away? Or was there something else going on?

After some soul-searching and conversations with trusted friends and family, Florence realized that her problem wasn't with football itself but with the pressure she had put on herself to succeed. She had been so focused on making it as a professional player that she had lost sight of why she had loved the game in the first place.

With this realization, Florence began to approach football with a new mindset. She played for the sheer joy of it, not because she felt like she had to prove something to herself or others. And with that, the love for the sport came flooding back.

Florence learned an important lesson in her journey back to football: that true passion cannot be forced or faked. It needs to come from a place of genuine love and enjoyment. She realized that it's okay to take a break from something and come back to it later, but it's important to remember why you loved it in the first place.

Today, Florence is back on the pitch, playing for the sheer joy of it. She no longer feels the pressure to make it as a professional, but instead is simply grateful for the opportunity to do what she loves. And that, she knows, is the most important thing of all.

What Motivated her the most is the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 10:31-32 “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God So eat your meals heartily, not worrying about what others say about you - you're eating to God's glory, after all, not to please them. As a matter of fact, do everything that way, heartily and freely to God's glory” ”. Also Colossians 3:17, which says, "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him".

So yeah if you think it's too late to be what you wanted to be, take this from me; it's never too late, in fact you just got started.
