Why as opposed to Why Not?
Believe in yourself that you CAN do it...
How often do you always want to start to do something, then life happens and it takes you away from your goal or destination? You may want pause reading to answer this rhetorical question...but while you wonder about this and how you are going to approach this question, may I continue to further explain myself? Life happens, there is no question about it...but why is it takes away from returning to it to figure out your end result? So here goes with what life has given me and hopefully I am able to inspire you in some way to get back in the saddle and realize your goals are doable as well as obtainable.
First, when you wake up in the morning, do you ever wake up feeling refreshed? What about feeling grateful to starting a new day knowing that whatever you did yesterday is gone and a memory created to remember (or not) for years to come. Just a side note on this; if you live for the moment and you don't live life with regret, this may apply to you. For those who are always living life like they have to walk on egg shells or have a life that isn't really what you thought, believe it or not, this may apply to you too. Okay, moving forward; mornings should make you a grateful person knowing that you are able to open your eyes and believe that you can be the person that might change somebody's life in your own way. T0 make this blog more personable, I am going to give you a brief overview of who I am. I grew up in the Middle East and truth be told, I have spent most of my childhood as well as adulthood in Toronto, Ontario Canada. There is my dad, my mom, my two older brothers, myself and my one younger sister. There used be a family dog too, but as his age had increased, therefore he is no longer with us. *pause for a moment of silence* ... thank you for that. In saying all that, hopefully while you continue reading this, you will realize that I make goals and I do what it takes to achieve them on a daily basis.
Second, am I right to assume in saying that everybody in the general public, makes some kind of goals of some kind, either to make with the intent of going shopping, or a goal to make some changes in your life? Either way, you have to understand that no matter what you do choose as goals to make, you have that "eye on the prize", which ultimately - is the purpose of goal making, am I right? So with that said, with all goals, when you set out to do it, don't you feel the want to achieve it? To know what the end result of it is? So why it, then you make a goal <insert here what takes you away from doing this goal ... i.e. procrastination, somebody at the door, phone rings, hunger strikes, *if this applies to your situation* kids want your attention, etc>, that you don't go back to your goal? Why as opposed to why not?***if you got this far and question yourself where have you heard this before, refer to the title of this blog ;)*** So, I am writing this, to show you why should go back to your goals. I will use this morning as a good example. I woke up this morning with the intention to writing and completing this blog. Then I realized that it is Thursday already, and I have a bake sale where I volunteered to make some goodies for Saturday. Also, being Thursday, I agreed to let one of my very good friends come over to spend the night til Friday. So ah, here I am thinking I have all free time to work on my blog, but there were other things that I felt were a bit more important. So goal setting me, said to myself, that if I make the goodies in the morning, prepare lunch for when my friend is coming over, I should have ample time to write this blog. So that's what I did. In conclusion, I did it! Now in writing this, my first of many blogs to come, I achieved my goal. My point is, that now I know what the end result is. I know that this blog will be read by any interested reader and all those who just want to know what thoughts are going on my brain, all because I set a goal and had every intention to see it to the end. Why? Because I was curious to see what this is all about and see where it takes me.
Finally, I just want to say this; no matter what you do in life, 1) BE GRATEFUL, 2) MAKE SMART DECISIONS and 3)SET OUT TO SEE THE GOAL TO THE END - YOUR INNER SELF WOULD BE SO VERY APPRECIATATIVE. Thank you, dear Reader for taking the time to reading this blog and I look forward to writing you another blog some time in the future
PEACE AND LUV TO YOU ALL!
