Who's the Hero of Your Story?
Maybe it's time to rewrite your narrative?

Growing up, I always dreamt of being a superhero. There were so many movies and TV shows circulating that inspired me to want this but, even more so, helped me to realize an innate desire that I already possessed for wanting to help people. Do you remember imagining whole worlds in your backyard or living room where you were the hero, saving everyone or giving your life so the world would be saved? Whatever your make-believe story was, my question is, Are you still dreaming today, or did that superhero saving worlds in their living room get lost along the way? Did you become the teacher you dreamt about being or the Hollywood movie star? Did you live out your dream of recording albums or traveling around the world? Did you become the mother or father you always wanted to be?
I have met so many people “forced” to believe that dreaming is child’s play, something to be put aside as you “grow up.” They aren’t able to follow their dreams or be what they want because of accusations whispering they aren’t good enough or they don’t have what it takes. For some, the villain is over-responsibility disapproving of the artist inside the bank teller. For others, it might be a hard life declaring that there is not enough time for anything else but work - you’re barely scraping by as it is. And still for some, the villain is simply forgetfulness. You have forgotten what it feels like to be the hero of your own life; you have forgotten the power that you have.
Imagine a world filled with everyday moms and dads, DMV workers, receptionists, bankers, or business leaders who are so in love with what they do because they have found the art of dreaming again. Think of the last time you encountered someone who seemed down and discouraged; now imagine them filled with joy and life because they have found the necessary tools to see their dreams come true. What a different world it would be if people realized that they could take hold of their lives and fulfill their destinies. What kind of story would be told about you to your grandchildren’s children if you took life by the horns to see your wildest imagination become reality?
As an adult, being the hero of my story means helping you become the hero of yours. I guess that would make me more like a helper or guide. You are the hero that I want to help shine, the one I want to see become fully YOU; it’s what makes me come alive! At this point in my life, I have found an entire group of superheroes who have the same story - they have become heroes of their own lives and want to help others do the same. My childhood dream of being a hero that helps save lives is more real today than it has ever been.
We are WanderTheWild, and we want to help your dreams come true. Can we go on this adventure of wandering the wild places of your lives with you?
