2020 was one of the most hardest year for so many of us but sometimes we all have to walk through darkness to know the importance of light. While reading my journal entries from the beginning of this year, I just realized how quickly life can change, how mercilessly our whole life is shattering in front of us and what we can only do is to stare at it helplessly!
Today, in the midst of December, I can't believe how I endured this year silently. From where I got so much of patience to walk through these thorns? though I am not yet over with my unhealed traumas but this year has taught me that life isn't always about achieving, sometimes the only greatest of struggle is to survive!
EVERY SINGLE DAY WE HAVE A CHOICE TO REPENT OUR LOST PAST OR TO CELEBRATE THE PRESENT. Here is what this hardest year thought me so far
1. Nothing kills but blood kills, family comes above everyone else.
2. The greatest of all possessions one could have is a place for shelter and a proper meal to eat.
3. Practical Skills are more valuable than a bachelor degree. You are never too old to learn anything new.
4. Art and literatures are two things to keep you sane ( respect your artists, authors and content creators )
5. For a while or two disconnect from outer world so you can connect with your inner self. You need yourself more than anyone else.
6. Stop bashing your friends for not available 24/7, we all are fighting battles no one knows about.
7. Miracles do happen one should have to believe in them.
8. Every single morning when you wake up make a secret prayer for everyone around you. Real joy is in giving!
9. Life is unpredictable and what we have planned might not be always achieved.
10. The worst thing about the past is that it can't be changed but it can change you.
11. Stop belittling yourselves, we all feel worthless at times and not every day could be a productive day.
12. Make your own little space of comfort, happiness is our won choice.
13. Don't call it HOPE, call it sunshine!
14. Starting late is still better than starting never. Simply begin!
15. Everything can change in a matter of seconds. Possessions never define your worth.
16. Men do cry and fall weak, masculinity isn't about being inexpressive or rigidity.
17. Mental health is as important as physical well being.
18. Normalize ending a toxic relationship without proving yourself. No matter how hard we try we can't make everyone happy.
19. Spend more time with your parents, there is no such blessing as seeing your parents healthy and smiling.
20. You can't love everyone but you could at least respect them. Stop judging, don't be harsh we all have our own circumstances and our own reasons!
