Writing or singing fulfills me hoping one day to become an author . They say dreams come true , but honestly the way things come true or happens is by people you know and knowing what they do. Doing things on your own will never be so easy like some people make it seem. I tried for singing , I was told I have to be a certain image to make it in the music industry and sex sells. That was a slap to my face because in their eyes 👀 I’m not sexy enough or beautiful enough . The world can be so cruel and throw out many hurts only if you let them. When I was turned down for singing I tried for modeling to, they said that it wasn’t for me try acting because you have to be a certain weight to fit in what they want you to wear. Oh my another slap in my face, so now all the dreams I had went down the drain. Now I don’t know what I can do because everything I wanted to do I don’t fit. Yes it’s hurtful that world 🌎 is so judgmental and don’t go on talent but go with looks and body type. The people can be so mean and ugly towards you not caring if they hurt your feelings to your face. Just imagine the laughter and talking behind your back. If I was like I used to be coming up I wouldn’t know how to except rejection, but when you love yourself and what you stand for it doesn’t matter what people say about you. Meaning I couldn’t follow my dreams I decided to take another route and that’s to go back to school for criminal justice not only to learn how the world operates but also to earn income meaning I’m doing what I have to just to make ends meet. My life hasn’t been easy but all I’ve experienced has been a learning situation for me. I teach my children never stop believing in yourself and let no one tell you that you’re not good enough to be what you want out of life. Keep pushing and striving until you get where you’re going. Singing didn’t work out, modeling didn’t work out so all I have left is writing and telling my story. Many people that are successful either knew someone or had help getting started. It take support to make it in this world and if you have no one supporting you or investing in you I hate to say it but you will not have a shot. The generation today don’t know what it means to work, and take care of each other. All they know is violence and taking from others what they work so hard to get. I ask myself every day what will it take for us to stop the hurt 😢, and the killing in the streets. The answer to that is better parenting and less rewards. By that I mean stop giving these kids awards for any little thing just to keep them out your hair and start discipline them when they don something you never agreed with. Let them know right from wrong and tell them for every wrong thing you do their will be consequences for your actions. It all start at home first, so be careful on what you say and do at all times. You are the first role model your children looks up to and their guidance when they need you to be. To every question or problem is always a solution. It is your choice on how you want to live and what you want to achieve. The people of the world can’t make you live only you can. Never give in or give up on your dreams they always will have something out there that is meant for you. I’m to the age where I have no time to chase any more dreams because people like what they like and choose whomever they want. They may say they are not judging you but to be honest everyone is judgmental and will always have an opinion about you. Never change who you are to please anyone because that means you’re not being real to yourself and what you stand for. Love yourself and always be true to yourself and what you stand for.

The lady of our lives
Life lessons you showed me was never put your full trust in man. Rather it’s negative or positive I’ve learned so much on what to do and what not to do. You showed me how to survive but also how to live your life. All that we been through in our lives made me the woman I am today. I’m strong, independent, a very good mother to my babies and hopefully I’ll have one more. You showed me stability when it came to men, lol 😂 they either had together or be gone. When you except my babies your earn my heart, that’s the type of woman you were. Coming up as a child I didn’t see it like this before and still sometimes today. You was a working wife and working mother too, still made ways to follow through. Going through all that you did, it was for a reason and the reason was your kids. Sometimes things was done out of spite, by the end of the day we knew you was right. The main thing you showed me in life was how to fight to the end. You fought, you cried , even yelled out the words I’m sorry and I tried. Still today I’m thinking why? What you sorry for you did your job. You tried to do what’s right and I understand that too, but without all that you still my mother and I love you. I forgive you and grieve every night wishing you was near. The water on my face is an ever lasting tear, everyday I wake will be another breath I take. Missing you 😔 and not hearing your voice. This situation made us make some life changing choices. Your shell may be gone but your soul will carry on, we love you forever boss mom we will see you in another time.

Lost but Trying
There are moments in life when everything feels lost—not dramatically, not loudly, but quietly. The kind of loss that settles into your bones and makes even simple breathing feel heavy. For Adam, that moment came on an ordinary Tuesday morning when he realized he had nowhere left to go. At twenty-seven, Adam wasn’t supposed to feel this tired. He wasn’t supposed to feel like life had already passed him by. Yet there he was, sitting on the edge of a narrow bed in a rented room, staring at peeling paint on the wall, wondering how everything had gone so wrong. He had once been full of plans. Big ones. Dreams of building something meaningful, of becoming someone his younger self would be proud of. But life, as it often does, had other ideas. Adam grew up in a small town where hope was common but opportunities were rare. His father worked long hours, his mother carried silent strength, and everyone believed that education would be the escape route. Adam believed it too. He studied hard, stayed out of trouble, and dreamed even harder. But dreams don’t always come with instructions. After college, rejection letters became his daily routine. Job interviews led to polite smiles and empty promises. “We’ll get back to you,” they said. Most never did. Slowly, confidence turned into doubt. Doubt turned into fear. And fear became a constant companion. When his father fell ill, Adam returned home. Medical bills piled up. Savings vanished. Dreams were postponed, then quietly buried. After his father’s death, the house felt too empty, too loud in its silence. Adam left again, this time not chasing dreams, but running from memories. The city welcomed him with indifference. He worked temporary jobs—delivery rider, warehouse helper, night security guard. None lasted long. Each job paid just enough to survive, never enough to grow. That night, he considered giving up. Not dramatically. Not with a note or tears. Just a quiet decision to stop trying. To accept that some people were meant to struggle forever. He sat on a bench near a bus stop, head in his hands, when an old man sat beside him. “You look like someone who’s lost,” the man said gently. Adam didn’t reply. The old man continued, “Being lost isn’t the problem. Staying lost is.” Adam finally looked up. The man’s face was lined with age, but his eyes carried a calm confidence, the kind earned through survival. “I’ve tried,” Adam said bitterly. “Nothing works.” The man smiled softly. “Trying doesn’t guarantee success. It guarantees growth.” Adam wanted to argue, but something in the man’s voice stopped him. “I failed more times than I can count,” the old man added. “But each failure taught me something. Most people quit right before life changes.” The bus arrived. The old man stood up. “Don’t stop trying,” he said. “Even slow steps are steps forward.” Then he was gone. Adam sat there long after the bus left. For the first time in months, something shifted inside him—not hope exactly, but curiosity. What if stopping wasn’t the answer? What if trying, even imperfectly, still mattered? The next day, Adam did something small. He updated his resume. It wasn’t impressive, but it was honest. He applied for jobs he felt un for. He watched free online courses at night. He started writing—short thoughts, reflections, anything that helped him release the weight inside. Days turned into weeks. Rejections continued, but so did effort. One evening, Adam posted a short piece of writing online. He didn’t expect much. But comments came in. Strangers resonated with his words.
