The Wishing Tree
There was a wonderful tree known as the Wishing Tree in a little town tucked away in the northern Indian hills. According to legend, if a person made a wish on the tree with a pure heart and good intentions, their wish would come true.
Throughout the years, a lot of the wishes that the locals had written on the tree had come true. While some people longed for luck or prosperity, others wished for love or happiness. Rani, a young girl from the hamlet, was the only one who had never put a wish on the tree. The most of her days were spent exploring the hills and forests that surrounding the settlement by Rani, a calm and reflective young woman. She was adored by everyone who knew her because of her gentle spirit and nice disposition.
Rani came across a wounded bird laying on the ground one day when she was ambling through the woodland. Rani realized she had to assist the bird because it was unable to fly due to a broken wing. She gently picked up the bird and brought it back to her hut, where she gave it treatment and a splint for its injured wing.Rani devoted all of her attention to taking care of the bird for the following few weeks. The bird grew stronger and better with each day that she fed it, gave it a bath, and spoke to it. The bird's wing eventually recovered, and it was once more able to soar.
Rani experienced sadness and a sense of loss as the bird departed. She missed the gentle bird's presence in her life since she had gotten connected to it. She pondered whether she would ever be able to care for and love a creature as much as she had the bird.
Rani had a notion about the Wishing Tree as she lay in bed that night, looking up at the ceiling. She had never before made a wish on the tree, but she pondered whether doing so may enable her to locate a new animal to take care of.
The following day, Rani climbed the hill to the Wishing Tree. "I desire to discover another creature that I can care for and love as much as I loved the bird," she said as she stood in front of the tree and closed her eyes. AS soon as Rani was done making her wish, a violent wind gust hit her. When she opened her eyes, she discovered a little, fuzzy creature at her feet. It was a young fox, barely old enough to walk, and it gave Rani a startlingly brilliant look as it peered up at her.
Rani was aware that the fox was intended for her. It was taken back to her cottage, where she built it a comfortable bed and gave it warm milk. She picked it up in her arms. As she had done with the bird, Rani devoted all of her time to caring for the fox after that day. The fox became Rani's regular friend as the weeks and months passed. It also got stronger and healthier. Together, they explored the hills and forests, and Rani shared her knowledge of the world with the fox. She had a deep love for the fox and was aware that the fox felt the same way about her.
Rani came into a group of people felling trees one day while she and the fox were exploring the forest. Rani realized she had to take action to stop the locals from razing the forest to create room for new homes and fields. She went to the local elders and begged them to halt the forest's destruction. She explained to them how the Wishing Tree had brought her the fox.
