The Positive side to Covid-19

We are all in this together!

As we all know Corona virus has been causing fear and stress in many of our lives the past couple months. Its scary that people are getting sick and its scary that a lot our jobs and schools have shut down. the grocery stores look like the apocalypse has hit. We all went into panic mode not having the clarity on when this will end and what will happen.

Lets now take a deep breath. ready. breathe in 1..2..3.. and breathe out 1...2..3.. Everything is going to be okay.

Lets take the time now to look at this in a positive light. We now have more time to spend with family and friends, in small groups of course.

now is the time to be grateful for our health and to pray for the people around us to stay safe and well. now is the time to show some compassion and kindness to the world, Instead of being selfish and hoarding and giving people death glares, how about instead we ask how they are doing mentally and physically and ask if they need anything. We are all going through this together. Some of us are not dealing well mentally with it so just be kind and lend an ear. lets please spread kindness and compassion for each other so we can all get through this together.

Now is the time to look inward, now you have the time to work on you mentally, physically and spiritually. lets take the time to care for the world around us. the earth needs us to take better care of it and each other.

Lets take the time to be grateful for all the things we took for granted before this virus came along. Lets be grateful for health, for the elderly in our lives that we need to distance ourselves from to keep them safe. lets be grateful for the jobs we had and for the ability to go to school and learn. lets give thanks to grocery stores for always having what we needed whenever we needed it. we were able to just go in and grab it and run out and now they are basically empty. lets have give thanks to nurses and doctors and those caring for the sick right now. lets look around us and stop taking everything for granted.

Spend this time doing things you love doing. things you didn't have time for before, things you have always wanted to try. Read that book you have been putting off. paint. binge those shows you have been wanting to watch. actually talk to the people around you. try a new hobby. clean that mess you have been putting off. fold that laundry. pick up a new hobby. This wont last forever so lets just try to make the best of this difficult and scary time and be there for those who are struggling.

We are all in this together. Spread kindness and compassion and lets come out of this stronger and more full of empathy for each other then ever before and when this is over lets not take the things around us for granted.
