Teen Walked 10 Miles for a Job, In the End He Received More Than Expected

Jhaqueil Reagan , an 18 year old teen Was Walking 10 Miles In The Cold To A Job Interview, He met a stranger on his way, in the end he got a job, and later he got internet fame.

Jhaqueil Reagan life was hard, his parents died in an accident in 2011, they left him two siblings to raise, He had dropped out of high school to help take care of his siblings after his mother's death and was homeless at the time.

One day he heard a job openings in Indianapolis, he left his siblings in his grandmother house, he went to an interview .

Its a chilly snowy day, even it is a small pay he needed a job urgently, he determine to get this job. He off to set this job position he started 10 miles through ice and snow to attend a job interview.

Meanwhile Ice is filled on the road, looks like a think white mattress covered on streets. 

At the same time Art Bouvier, the owner of Papa Roux Cajun restaurant, walking on the parking on his restaurant, he saw Jhaqueil Reagan' walking in snow. 

Art recalled the conversations with Reagan he said fox news interview Reagan asked "Excuse me how far it was to 10th and Sherman."

Art Said "Buddy that's probably six, seven miles." he then said, "You'd be better off on a bus especially in this weather." 

Reagan just said, "Okay, thank you." And he kept going.

20 Minutes Later, as Art Bouvier was driving with his wife to a coffee shop, he was surprised to find the same person, still walking.

They pulled over, and asked him "how come you are not on the bus."

he replied "I can't afford the bus until i get the Job."

They offered him a ride. On the way Reagan told his story ,

Meanwhile Art Bouvier, further impressed by reagan , he actually planned his time well, still 2 hours left for his interview , his dedication to reach interview on time .

Dedication and punctuality is the good qualities of a good employee .

In the mind of Art Bouvier, there is an idea popped up,

'That's the kind of story your parents used to tell, my parents used to tell, up both ways in the snow.'

After hearing Jhaqueil Reagan' story, Art was impressed by Reagan's determination and offered him a job at his restaurant at double the minimum wage.

Mr Bouvier told him that even if he was offered the Dairy Queen gig, he would double his salary if he came to work for him at Papa Roux instead

'It's crazy. I don't even know. It's really crazy,' Reagan told Fox 59. 'My heart's just racing right now. I'm just too excited, just excited to start.'

Mr Bouvier posted the teen's story to his Facebook page. later this story went viral, has reached nearly 15,000 'likes' and has been shared nearly 4,000 times.

Reagan don't know anything about this he started his first day work , he was so happy that he got job.

Reagan's story went viral after Bouvier shared it on Facebook, and the teen's luck changed dramatically.  Tv news station approach him for interview and his story broadcast on tv.

When Indianapolis Public Transportation about reagan's transportation they Provided Reagan with a free year-long travel pass after his story became public

Things didn't end there a car was donated to him, he got cash donations to him.

Not Reagan benefit through this, Papa roux restaurant get more customers ,their business doing well. Reagan is happy with his job, and colleagues .

He started the Jhaqueil Reagan Foundation to help disadvantaged people find work.

Since then, Reagan has been featured in various media outlets, and his story continues to inspire many.
