The Power Of Being Vulnerable
From my teenage years, I have been an ardent fan of journaling. I have been documenting my daily life experiences since I was 13. I have accumulated numerous journals over the years. Sometimes I go through some of them to relive past experiences. One of such experiences was my first car accident in the US. It was one of the scariest situations of my life, I thought I was going to be the end of my life. Thank God I made it and am alive to tell the story. I will share details of that experience in another write up.

From Inmates To Millionaires
Take away all the excuses and remove all the rhetoric from the world and this is one of the most truthful dialogues I've heard in life. As I sit here, trying to develop my Vocal portfolio, looking for something to write about on this Saturday morning, I started thinking about winners. It's probably because I've been guilty of it, making the grand excuses and like some people, I stress and think about throwing in the towel. Unlike a lot of people, I keep getting back up. I keep trying new things and I keep going. That's the key, to keep going. Many find it easier to let themselves get bogged down by history, by fear, by their own perceptions that tell them they can't, they can't, they can't. I'd like to take a look at that for a moment or two.

The Chase
Last season I pedaled like a madman, and the tiger was hungry. A couple of times he almost got me, and in the closing race, he gave me a flat. This season has been different - I’ve been struggling to reach the top 20, slipping on rock sections, and constantly choosing the wrong lines. The tiger has become slow and uninterested. I think it’s because of the 20K sponsorship I got. The money made me careful, and I felt responsible to do well.

Tapping In
I do not even know where to begin to describe the feelings as of lately. They have literally been all over the place from up down happy sad miserable to elated. Maybe not so much elated, but short moments of okay-ness. So, this is nothing new, I always seem to meet myself at this place when I start to get antsy. I’m sure many can relate as of now due to good ol’ quarantining. However, this feeling was happening long before the COVID era.
