Black Book of Rich Man's Secrets
It's just another typical day with Howard Lawson, a 29-year-old man from Newark, New Jersey that works at a supermarket. Howard has been working at the supermarket for the past 5 years. Howard has a few friends that he has kept in touch with from high school and lives with his parents in their humble abode. He doesn't have many aspirations in his life except to work hard and help his parents. He hardly does anything out of the ordinary. He's a cashier and works on minimum wage making a low but decent living. Howard strives to help his parents make ends meet, which gives him satisfaction in life and is his main goal.
One day when Howard was walking home from work, something came to mind. He was walking past a local bookstore that has been in his neighborhood for years. He never went there ever in his life, so it wasn't peculiar to him to not go there. But apparently on this particular day for some reason, he was feeling that he should go in and see what it's like. So he walked into the bookstore and started looking around. He came across many books in every direction. Howard was quite overwhelmed by it. Never before, except maybe in school or at a library, had he seen so many books all at once. Howard was dumbfounded. He was in shock and amazement.
Howard saw that one of the people that worked there was someone he knew from high school. But this wasn't one of the friends he kept in touch with from high school. His name was Daniel. He remembered his name in his mind and walked over to him and said hi. Daniel was surprised to see him there. Daniel asked him what brought him to the bookstore and Howard told him that he just wanted to check it out and see what it's like. Daniel told him that he might actually end up finding something, namely a book that'll be of interest to him and that he'll like.
Howard didn't like reading books much but agreed with him that it was a possibility. Howard went walking right into the aisles and started checking the shelves to see the many books that were at his disposal. He would take a book off the shelf, have a look at the title, and quickly skim through it and put it back. Howard kept searching and searching for a book that would draw his attention. Something told him to stay persistent and keep looking around.
He got to the last aisle on the right side of the bookstore and ended up seeing one book that stood out to him. It was a black book that was slightly out of the set of books that it was in on the shelf. He got closer to where the black book was and took it off the shelf. He firmly held it and looked at the title of it. To his surprise, it was no ordinary book. The book was titled "Secrets of a Rich Man on How to Become Rich". The title of the book caught his eye immediately. He was intrigued by it and curious about it. The title blew his mind. He decided to buy the book and took it right to the cashier to pay for it. The cashier scanned it and the price was $21.99. Normally he would have spent any money remaining after paying bills on takeout food but made a choice to buy this book instead.
Howard paid for the book and took it home. He started reading it as soon as he got home after he finished eating dinner. He read 1 page, 2 pages, 5 pages, 10 pages, and even 20 pages. He read chapter after chapter. It blew his mind that the blueprint for becoming rich was at the bookstore, and was at his disposal. He never thought in his wildest dreams that he would get an opportunity to acquire some knowledge or information on how to become rich. He was mind blown.
Days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months. Howard would read, read and read. He read the book with utmost attentiveness and engagement. The book had 1,300 pages. By the time 2 months had passed, he had already read 950 pages. He was well on his way to finishing the book. He had already begun putting into practice the many steps that the book consisted of. Over the course of 2 months, Howard was living his life based on what he was reading in the book. He began implementing the things that would enable him to acquire riches.
The book instructed that if you desire to become rich, you must first have the mindset that you'll be rich and have what it takes. The next step was to save as much money as you can and minimize your spending as much as possible. Given that Howard had to pay bills that took more than half of his income, he had to try and save the little that he could that was remaining after all his bills were paid. The book also instructed you to write out your monthly expenses on paper and stick to a strict budget. He did just that and made it part of his daily life. He slowly but surely began to save money and see some manifestations of the book's teachings taking place in his life.
By 4 months, Howard was nearly done reading the book. He had read 1,150 pages. The book emphasized how one of the key factors in becoming rich was an investment. One had to save up money to a certain amount and begin investing it. The book suggested investing in the stock market and starting a business. Howard would go to work and go home like he normally did, but with the hope that things will get better. He was hopeful that things would gradually improve in his life and was eager to make it a reality.
Howard finally finished reading the book in his 5th month. He was officially done reading and was already applying the things that the book instructed on how to become rich in his life. In 6 months' time, Howard had saved $600 dollars. He was doing his very best to do what the book told. In a year, Howard managed to save his first $1,000 dollars. He was bent on saving as much as he possibly could. 3 years passed and Howard stuck with the regimens. He was able to save $5,000.
Howard decided to invest in the stock market. He decided to take an online course on the stock market so he could learn the dynamics of it. The course was 3 months. After 3 months, Howard started buying stocks. He began day trading. He ended up hitting it big with one stock that he invested $1,500 in. He bought 10 shares of that stock since one went for $150. There was a surge and the stock went as high as $500 a share. He made $5,000 from it and invested in another lucrative stock. This stock went for $400 a share. He bought 10 and hit it big a month later. The stock went as high as $1,000 a share and made $10,000 from it. His money kept multiplying and he kept investing until he made a whopping $100,000 in profits.
Howard continued this for 2 years and was fortunate enough to make nearly a million dollars from the stock market. He is now at $450,000 in profits. Howard is now able to pay all his bills with ease and buy anything and everything for his parents. So he quit his job at the supermarket. and did this full-time. He met a woman one day when he was filing his taxes and they fell in love. They got married a year later after he made $675,000 in profits from the stock market.
The black book he read roughly several years ago on how to become rich actually worked for him. He read it and made it do wonders for him in his life. He will never be the same Howard again and he can thank the black book he bought from the bookstore for that. Howard Lawson later became a millionaire.
