The Manifestation Journal
The pit in Alani’s stomach tightened as she opened her eyes. The sun had only just come up, but she was a light sleeper. As soon as life began to stir outside her window, so did Alani. It had been like that since she was a little girl, rising with the singing birds. She didn’t always have the anxiety though.

A Total Turn Around
In New York lived a young man named Derek. Derek was raised in the lower East Side, a troubled kid in a troubled part of town. Growing up isolated, insecure, bad grades, constantly fighting with his mom, and no true direction in life. He was kicked out at age 19 when his mother was fed up with his disrespect. He can still remember walking out hearing her compare him to his father, who left them on Thanksgiving when he was ten. With no close friends or family, the only person who took him in was his coworker Tyler. Upon arrival, Tyler simply said “get your own groceries, rent is due on the first, your room is upstairs.” and that was the only conversation they had for a week.

Shimmering
The only time I ever saw my father cry was when my grandmother died. The light reaching through the crack in the door to his study was bright enough to burn the memory of his quivering shoulders into my mind forever. Sometime after her funeral, when most had paid their respects and left, he took me and my little sister outside to look at the stars. Hayley was too young to fully understand what was happening, but she held my hand just the same, mimicking my father as he pointed out a cluster of stars in the sky.

Suzy Under the Sun in Sagittarius
Imagine learning that 2021 is the year you ultimately become your best self. Envision that you will reach your goals, find healing, and step away from the dark past that haunts, bringing you into the bright light of opportunity. If you’re a Sagittarius, and more specifically, me, this is very much the case.

The Law Of Attraction
I always knew I was the odd one out. As I had thought people looked at me funny day in and day out, I had only thought and wondering what was going through their minds. Meanwhile while I was rubbing and gripping my hands as my sweat started to warm up and make my palms all sticky. I had always knew there was something possibly wrong. Growing up as a child all I ever seen was a cask of a cheap, smelly, white wine, bottles of degreaser and petrol fumes lingering around in the air.

I Had No Idea I Had Addictive Tendencies?
How do you know if your compulsive you ask? Well, let me begin by saying, this is not a condition your born with, it is what you learn to be from a young age. I was raised poor with a drunk for a mother and 6 siblings all with different fathers except for me and my two baby sisters...we all had the same father, why, because my father was an extremely handsome man, he looked quite a bit like Kix Brooks from Brooks and Dunn only my father had blue eyes, anyways...moving on...see! got side tracked!

Challenge Accepted
I don't know who may need to hear this today but I want to start out by saying this. You are worthy, you are strong, you are loved, you are enough! With that being said I wish nothing but the best for ya. I will not tell you what to do here but I will try to be honest with ya on a few things.

The World Hates You
You are on the run. What makes it worse is that you did not pack light. You have a gigantic backpack tagging along. You have carried it for way too long to the point where it becomes a part of your body. Inside that backpack lies everything that makes you unhappy. You can never stop lifting though. You can never stop dragging.

The Power Of Habits
Jean started her day like every other day. Alarm blaring loud, foster mom screaming from downstairs, and a house full of kids fighting for their turn to get into the bathroom. She was always the last out of the 5 to get her turn in the shower. This day was no different. The water was freezing when she finally got in the bathroom. So again, she skips the shower and just sprays herself down with an air freshener. Jean rushes downstairs grabbing whatever was left of breakfast. Kate and Ronnie weren't the warmest or the most emotionally aware people but they tried their best to provide a warm meal and a safe home for all the kids. Jean didn't care to wake up early or be in the company of Kate and Ronnie. She was content with skipping shower time and eating whatever was leftover.

Namaste
Women in the business world are becoming more and more normal in this decade with women owning, building and running all intricate operations. Black women however, are not only rising to this new exchange of power, but they are paving ways for other black women while taking charge. There’s so much speech about black women being oppressed that their accomplishments are being shadowed and unspoken about. That is why a business about having better mental health is beneficial for all women and black women need to be included in this conversation.

Don't Give A Damn!
Have you ever seriously considered the reasons behind why you aren't achieving the success you desire in life, or the happiness, satisfaction, and prosperity, you yearn for, for that matter? You might be happy to admit to fault, and take ownership as to why you haven't achieved these. Perhaps you admit to being lazy, and you just haven't got off your butt to commit to achieving your goals? Perhaps you blame other people or circumstances? Perhaps you believe you just aren't lucky and blessed in life? Perhaps you believe you're just not destined for such rewards, and that life just totally sucks? Whatever the reason, or reasons, you'd have to be foolish to accept there is just one secret ingredient, one component, behavior, characteristic, action, or habit, to achieving success, happiness, satisfaction, and prosperity. All these blessings require us to inhabit the characteristics of determination, resilience, patience, perseverance, drive, motivation, and commitment, within us. We know that we have to work extremely and consistently hard. We know that we have to believe in ourselves, and be positive minded. All these things and more, are all necessary if we want to achieve the above results. On the flip side, there are the success killers, of course. The three biggest reasons behind why so many people live their life in failure, unhappiness, and dissatisfaction, is because of fear, doubt, laziness, or all three combined. There is one massive weakness that humankind in general have though, when it comes to the reasons why so many of us live such an unfulfilled and unhappy life, and that is our excessive desire to impress others, please others, and have others like us.
