Waiting for perfection is detrimental to the success
We have a passion for our dreams to come true. When we have a love for anything, we want to execute it as perfectly as possible. When we set out to do anything, we often want to score big right away. We want to become overnight celebrities. We wish to obtain the best results as quickly as feasible. However, things take time. It improves over time, but the key is to get started as soon as possible.

Asking questions and finding answers
I’m an occultist, artist, poet and self-published author. Or rather all of these things are facets of me, part of the identity that I share with the world around me. I’ve been writing since I was a teenager. First it was bad poetry, and then it became short stories and then I started writing books about my magical practice. More recently I started writing fiction again, this time in the form of books.

Beating Cancer Gives You Superpowers
In my last story about being a track/car enthusiast I mentioned at the age of 11 I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma cancer. It was very brutal but I was motivated and driven to beat it. I am not here to ramble about cars or how successful I am after I beat it. This isn’t one of those cliches where I am a billionaire and I am donating to charities on TV with some trophy wife and 3 kids. When I battled that silent deadly disease it gave me a better outlook on life and the more I got older I was able to understand more that having cancer was more of a gift then a curse after realizing what I beat. As kids we are not really taught how to deal with tragic situations or disasters, we have to be blinded or forced to forget as we get older. I can tell you with cancer it is a little different because you will never be able to forget it no matter how hard you try because anytime you apply for a job, go to the doctor, or anywhere with a questionnaire that has past/current disease check off sheet you will always be reminded of what you went through. I will now get into how this gave me superpowers, I am sure you were expecting some freak mutation or some cgi film scene. I remember I got hired at my first career and I was 21 everyone around me was at least 25 or older, it was already hard to relate at my age because I never went to college so just having a career around people who have families and other responsibilities was just raising the social anxiety.

Creating Something from Nothing
I've always liked creating something from nothing. Maybe that's why I enjoy writing so much. I start with a blank screen and then start typing. I have crates of all my hobbies, and they range from sewing all the way up to working with wood. I have sewn formal dresses for myself and friends, put together terra cotta pots in the shape of a horse for the yard and even created a wood deck for my above ground pool following a set of plans I bought online.

Maintaining Your Inner Peace In The Midst Of Outer Dissonance
In a world that is permanently transformed by recent events, we are daily challenged by the need to restore and maintain inner peace amidst external conflicts. And dissonance is everywhere. Maybe the youth of living at home is over. Or maybe the world we are entering into is not the same as the land we left behind and it does not sound right. The distractions we may have been using to ease them during difficult experiences are lost.

How to Honor Their Legacies and Lessons
The song is over, but the music continues. ”~ Irving in Berlin I never went to my grandmother's funeral as a child, and honestly, I was secretly glad I didn't. I was too young to understand what death was like, and I don't think I had the strength to do so. So when I heard about their deaths, I told them the news that they had gone on a long vacation and had a lot of fun, so we didn't see them.

Pre-30 Crisis
At 12:14 on June 15, 1992, I went live. This blessed body was born to the earth and ready to begin a new life. 3 days ago, I turned 29. And the days leading up to that day had all forms of emotional rollercoaster-ing happening. I wanted to basically go about the day as any other; no specific attention to it being my birthday, no fuss, no nothing. Just another day. The people in my life had other ideas though, specifically my brother, who would not let the day go by with at least a little acknowledgement. I’m incredibly grateful for him, as his persistence served as a reminder that I am, in fact, very loved by at least some members of my family. (My family dynamic is complicated, and not in any way relevant to this story… moving on).

a return to gentleness
I recently had the pleasure of spending three blissful days dancing and connecting with beautiful people at the So Cal festival, Lightning in a bottle. One on of the nights I left the dance floor to refill my water bottle. As is often the case, my mind and heart were churning with “aha’s” gleaned while in the throes of dance. As I bent to turn on the tap, the water shot out like a cannon and I had to quickly turn the spigot down to avoid being drenched and wasting a ton of water. In that moment a new insight hit me like a bolt of lightning… how appropriate… ha!

Discover How Integrity Is Intertwined in Various Aspects of Our Life
Integrity is Deeply Rooted in Our Life Integrity is deeply rooted in our life We are not unfamiliar with the word “integrity”. The most interesting thing is that even a small baby responds if integrity breaks. If there are two kids in front of you and if you do not behave with them equally, they will protest. In general sense, integrity means equality. Integrity is so important that it is not only an important human virtue but also is true for all other arenas. I will discuss that in detail in subsequent paragraphs.
