Giving Thanks to AWARENESS
I was listening to James and Lionel talking. “I don’t understand,” James complained. “How did you get here? Twenty years ago, you were the wealthiest man in our hometown. You valued millions. Now you are the poorest. What happened?

Be Your Most Productive Self
I think we’ve all been there – we complain how busy our day has been and then when we look back on it, we realize that we didn’t achieve all that much, despite feeling busy for every single second. This is because being busy and being productive are not the same thing.

The Downside
It is really not surprising to find out that even motivators need to be motivated. This is a discovery everyone must know and come to terms with. It is also not news that we can't have all the days of our lives all good and rosy, there is and will surely be a time when even motivators and the motivated will experience the downside of life.

Good Luck Bad Luck
The belief that one's success or failure can be brought by chance rather than their actions, is as old as time itself. We love the idea of labeling single, as well as consecutive positive events, as luck. From the luck of the Irish to good luck charms, mankind has always pushed the agenda that some people are more or less positively serendipitous than others.

Life; Thorns Or Flowers
Share your roses, twigs or thorns Walk around the room and ask students to share their roses, twigs, or thorns to think about the work itself. Give students 30 minutes or a few minutes to sit down and think about their rose, shoot, or thorn. As a way to supplement this activity, strategies are being developed to discuss the concept of turning thorns into roses and explaining how thorns support learning and growth.

Not controlling everything, it's alright too
Sometimes we get used to things being the way I want them to be, we don't realize that in an effort to control absolutely everything, I am really detaching myself from the very experience of being in the present moment. Things aren’t always the way we want them to be, and that this is okay. Begin by accepting that nothing is good, nothing is bad, it simply is, and that is how, from deep acceptance, we open ourselves to the experience of life itself.

Finding peace is necessary for success
You can never find serenity anyplace else if you can't find it inside yourself. When you begin exercising, you may find that you sleep better, eat better, and have more self-confidence. We feel there is a comparable domino effect when you are at peace with yourself.
