Self help, because you are your greatest asset.
Always do the things you are afraid to do
When I first started work, I was extremely shy, and the thought of speaking in front of people scared the living daylights out of me. When I was forced to present a few times, I turned into a sweaty mess. In fact, one time, I got so nervous that I ended up having a coughing fit in the middle of a presentation forcing the client to leave the room to get me a glass of water. Once I had stopped coughing and choking all over the client, I stood red-faced, sweat coming through my shirt and my suit jacket! I could see my boss and colleagues sitting wide-eyed, wondering if I was going to keel over or finish the presentation.

Life is Simple
I WANT TO BE A WRITER! by Halsey It is not a want. It is not a wish. It’s simple. A demon waiting at the foot of your bed to grab your ankles while you sleep. It’s a gnat burrowing into your ear and laying eggs behind the sockets of your eye. It’s sitting in your own filth for days, staring at the shower across the room while minutes become hours. What It Really Means to Love Yourself
Self love is a concept that's taken the internet by storm in recent years. Some think it's beautiful and fill their social media profiles with inspiring quotes and posts about treating yourself kindly with books, tea, and bubble baths. Some look at those posts and sneer, thinking that this is all meaningless. And some are caught somewhere in the middle, wanting to love themselves, but finding the shallowness of the concept to be unsatisfying.

5 Tips for Handling Self-Doubt
Everyone, at many points in their lives, will have doubts about themselves. Whether it’s about how well they’re performing at their job or their relationship with their romantic partner, everyone has times where they wonder if they are “good enough”. For some of us, feelings of self-doubt can be pervasive and difficult to get rid of. As a result, it can seep into our everyday lives, affecting both our self-image and how we interact with others. Currently, I’m at a time of massive transition in my life where there have been plenty of reasons for self-doubt. However, slowly but surely, I’ve been learning to control these moments of self-doubt by reorienting my self-perceptions and the expectations I have for myself. Personal insecurities are unique to each individual, and there are other people far more educated on the subject than I who have written about how to handle self-doubt. As is the case with many things, however, what works for one person may not work for another and it never hurts to have a few more tricks up your sleeve. As such, I want to share 5 tips that I have learned to handle my self-doubt through experience (and the advice of people a lot smarter than me!). Not as a professional therapist or trainer, but as an individual dealing with my own uncertainties in the hopes that my experiences may be useful to you as well.
