Stuck In Traffic
alot of folks wake up wondering what the day will be like and sometimes some predict their day either writing down what they want to accomplish or achieve on that particular day itself. While others just simple get up and get going .And you ask yourself while you are on the road .where am I going to?

The Shortfalls of Solitude
In a society that craves the success of the individual, an implication arises that any success or failure is our own--or at least that's the message delivered. Successes? Great. You win that contract, close that deal, beat that level in your video game, get an A on your test! It was you, and all your hard work that made it so. But slip up your pitch, lose the deal, or fail your test, and it was also you, and your failed efforts, that caused it to be so. Even more damning, you might remember that when you were out celebrating that big contract, you might remember that your coworkers or partners were trying to claim the credit for that success all to themselves--"Hey, if I hadn't edited that slide we would have been screwed!" or "Hey, if I hadn't done that research on the company we would have never known how to pitch it!" That strange paradox of individualism: in trying to promote ourselves, we think that we need others to steal successes as our own!

The Journey of Self - Care:
In the past few years, I've discovered that I have become someone who is easily taken advantage of. The errand runner, then drops what you're doing friend, a whatever you want a friend- that was me. This led me to develop bad habits of going, going, going until I can not go anymore. I felt like I was being used and abused, which lead me to feel depressed and full of anxiety- staying up at night worrying about what others were thinking about me.

Finding Peace
We all just want to be happy. Happiness is sold to us, we are shown through ads, social media, TV, books, movies, all of it, we're told we need to keep chasing happiness. There's one more thing we need. One more eyeshadow pallet to make us beautiful, and if we're beautiful, we can be happy. If we're with the right person, we'll be happy. If we go to the right places, and see all the right things, we'll be happy. I have spent my entire life, chasing happiness. It's the only thing I ever want. Money comes and goes, friends come and go, I just fucking wanted to be happy.

Why I left my 9-5 job and moved to Bali!
Why I wanted to move to Bali - Escaping the modern 9-5 job There are many reasons why I decided to move to Bali, but let’s start from the beginning. A year and a half ago, I came to Bali for the first time on a very spontaneous, unplanned, and may I say quite chaotic trip. At that time, I had recently graduated from USC and found myself in a pretty common situation of any recent grad: I was overworked at a 9-5 job that I wasn’t passionate about and became bogged down with the post graduation blues. From being micromanaged by my boss to coming home way past dark, I constantly asked myself - “Is this all there is to life?”.

WHO IS EDB?
Insanity, a word which as many definitions. (1)the state of being seriously mentally ill; madness. (2)extreme foolishness or irrationality. All of those are good, but the one I am most familiar with is one we have used in these streets. A train of thought which must have escaped the academic minds. The TRUE DEFINITION of insanity is... “Doing the SAME THING looking for a Different Outcome!!” Another key word I want to focus on is SAME THING.. Ya see doing the same thing has a lot of layers. That could mean, working for the same company despite it constantly keeping you pissed TF off.. It could mean hanging out with the same people, who constantly leave you wanting to vomit, or even attending the same places which trigger unpleasant thoughts and or feelings. If you are like me, you constantly ask yourselves, why you keep putting yourself through this 💩💩??

Good morning
Good morning Sun. There is nothing like starting the day as you turn off that loud and annoying alarm clock, roll out of bed, gather some clothes for work, stroll into the kitchen half awake. As you begin to smell that morning coffee and As you fill up your cup of coffee and open the blinds and see such an amazing view. I love seeing the sun, either sunrise or sunset. I love the different colors that the sun puts off. Every morning it looks like an artist has painted another wonderful scenery. No matter if it’s a first thing in the morning or later in the evening when the sun begins to set. There are always different colored patterns. Sometimes you will see more yellow than red, other day totally opposite. The sun reminds me each day we can make a change, we can affect others in small ways or big. You know what during the winter months when it gets darker earlier, it feels like those days just drag on. There is something about those days when it’s brighter when the sun is shining it honestly feels like no matter what comes my way it is going to be a good day.

5 affirmations that changed my life
Finding happiness seems to becoming a nearly unreachable goal, people search all over for quick fixes and distractions. I have come to the conclusion that the only way to achieve true happiness is through yourself. Being willing and open to putting hard work in. There is no quick fix I'm afraid. It’s a battle that at some point or another we all have to fight. The new year has just passed and with it the expectation to start a fresh. Rather than tell myself what i should be achieving this year I'm choosing to look back on the important lessons I have learnt and how I can continue to grow with these affirmations in mind.
